Brendan Murray recently appeared on The X Factor UK hoping to get one of the chairs on the show, the "Six Chair Challenge". Murray went on stage and told the judges that he is there to realize the dream and that music is his passion. They wish him good luck and he turns to the other participants who are already on stage, sitting on the chairs. So, Brendan starts singing "Everybody Hurts", originally written and recorded by the successful band R.E.M. His voice was impressive for everyone, including the judges.
