Brendan Murray recently appeared on The X Factor UK hoping to get one of the chairs on the show, the "Six Chair Challenge".
Murray went on stage and told the judges that he is there to realize the dream and that music is his passion. They wish him good luck and he turns to the other participants who are already on stage, sitting on the chairs. So, Brendan starts singing "Everybody Hurts", originally written and recorded by the successful band R.E.M.
His voice was impressive for everyone, including the judges. See also the other competitors who interact with each other about how incredible it sounds. When Brendan hits the top notes of the song, he sees that the other competitors fall and know that one of them will not be on that stage for long.
Brendan sings with such intensity that you feel every emotion he has and the emotions that the songwriter wanted you to hear.
When Brendan completes the song, he naturally receives a great ovation from the crowd and the judges, and collapses on the floor, squatting on the stage, as if he were crying.
Simon Cowell tells Brendan that he is in a different category than the other participants. Another of the judges calls Brendan to tell him that he wants to talk to him, but immediately presses the button that presses to bring the competitor to the next stage of the show. Brendan is elated and everyone is excited to have another chance to listen to this amazing actor.
