Being a predator and a prey can be a complicated matter in the Kalahari desert. While looking for food, the meerkat bands should always look at the sky, while birds of prey wander over. With a sentry ready to sound the alarm when they see a threat, these little members of the mongoose family will instantly shoot. Sure, they can run ... but how well can they hide?
