In the short history of Got Talent in Great Britain, there was a considerable number of young competitors, in particular child singers.
Unfortunately, most of them simply didn't make the cut. The rules do not take into account age, so the odds build up against a child who wants to eliminate the biggest singers.
Many young footballers in the UK are enrolled in special development schools, but you don't see them competing with men, right? The UK is a crazy country for football, and now they are crazy about talent!
The participant in this clip is Ronan Parke, a 12-year-old boy. Not only was it his first audition, but it was also his first participation in a public event. The song he chose to sing was "Feeling Good" by Michael Bublé. What happened?
Ronan has tightened the house! He received an enthusiastic ovation from the public and the judges. "I foresee great things for you, you are so good, fantastic!" One of the judges said. "Ronan Parke. Remember that name. It will be a star!
Ronan would become the runner-up, but the win was lost by a small margin. He got a recording contract and recorded an album that spent many weeks on the UK album list.
